Finders Keepers

Lost and stranded in the Alaskan wilderness was not how Erin Worthington imagined her dream job and fun adventure to end. Getting the highly-coveted internship with the prestigious Dr. Adam James was a dream come true—a dream that would drastically change her life in a way she had never imagined.

Terrified and lost, Erin must find her way back to civilization, with the closest town lying over 100 miles away across one of America’s most untamed wildernesses. Her salvation finds her in the middle of the night, but Erin wonders which is more dangerous—the Alaskan wilderness itself, or the stranger who says he will help her survive it.

I easily could have read this book in 24 hours or less. I did not want to put the book down. There was a constant development of the plot, with no lulls whatsoever. I know the author and I cannot tell you how impressed I was with Dana's research about the Alaskan wilderness and aviation. I liked that there were some mysteries that were left to the imagination for example: What was the favor Cole served Trent to make Trent leave Erin with Cole? What was the emergency Cole left Erin for towards the end of the book? Would Erin's family embrace her change of heart and life direction or would they think she was crazy once she explained the traumatic string of events? I loved that this romance was free of profanity and sex before marriage. However, it was definitely sensuous and exciting. This would make a great gift for anyone who loves fiction, mystery, romance, or suspense.
